Flowboard Care Instructions
We are confident that you will love the ride of your new board. Nowhere else can you get a flowboard with this level of performance, customization and attention to detail. As with all high performance flowboards, it is very important that certain steps be taken to care for these boards as they are not indestructible and can be damaged. If not treated properly these boards can break, crack, and/or delaminate.
Following these few simple "tips" will help you better maintain a long life span for your board so you can get as many hours as you can handle in the water.
- TIP #1: IF YOU ARE BAKING IN THE SUN, SO IS YOUR BOARD. DO NOT EXPOSE BOARDS TO LONG PERIODS OF INTENSE HEAT AND OR SUNLIGHT. THIS CAN CAUSE DELAMINATION AND/OR YELLOWING OF THE RESIN.
- TIP #2: MAINTAIN THE EVA TRACTION. LONG EXPOSURE TO CHLORINE AND SUNLIGHT CAN HAVE NEGATIVE EFFECTS ON YOUR TRACTION. IF A PORTION OF THE EVA TRACTION BECOMES UNGLUED. SIMPLY USE STANDARD SUPER GLUE TO ADHERE IT BACK TO THE BOARD. THIS SIMPLE PROCESS WILL GREATLY INCREASE THE LIFESPAN OF YOUR BOARD.
- TIP #3: THE BETTER CARE TAKEN, THE LONGER YOUR BOARD WILL PERFORM FOR YOU. IF YOU DO CRACK OR DAMAGE THE BOARD, GET IT FIXED RIGHT AWAY. IF YOU RIDE THE BOARD WHILE CRACKED YOU MAY WORSEN THE DAMAGE AND/OR MAKE IT HARDER TO FIX LATER. ONLY USE EPOXY RESIN WHEN DOING DING REPAIR.
